Petty’s Garage unveils their supercharged version of the sixth generation pony!

Making its debut a few months back at the SEMA 2014 the Petty’s Garage unveiled their supercharged version of the sixth generation pony among a host of other modified versions. With most of these modified versions only on display as a vendor exhibit, never seeing more than one unit produced, Ford and Petty’s Garage announced they are teaming up in the production of 143 limited edition Mustang GTs inspired by the Petty’s Garage Mustang GT that appeared at SEMA last year.
A Mustang to fit a King the Richard Petty performance house will offer two stages of the modded ‘Stangs. One hundred of the cars offered in the Stage 1 version they will feature, courtesy of Ford Racing/Roush Performance, the 627 hp supercharged Coyote V8, a Magnaflow center-exit exhaust, an exterior treated with a Petty’s Garage bodykit, as well as HRE FlowForm wheels, along with an interior that includes Richard Petty’s autograph on the dash, custom upholstery and embroidered headrests. Including the price of the donor car the Stage 1 will sell for an estimated $62,410 and will be offered in any color from the Mustang palette.
Priced at $92.410, with forty-three of the Stage 2 limited edition models being produced, this package will include the addition of a Wilwood brake upgrade with Petty Blue calipers, a Richard Petty three piece 20-inch forged HRE wheels trimmed in Petty Blue, as well as a the two-tone black and Petty Blue paint finish seen at SEMA that will include the badging of the number 43 upon the roof pillars.
With both versions inclusive of the Ford/Roush and Petty Garage warranties which does include the coverage of the add-on parts the Petty 627 hp supercharged variant can be ordered from any Blue Oval dealer through-out the nation. Legendary AC/DC lead singer Brian Johnson acquiring the first Stage 2 unit, Johnson shared “This Mustang has just taken my breath away”.  “It really is one of the best cars I’ve ever driven. I didn’t have an American car, but I do now!” Sure to feel like both a Rock Star and NASCAR royalty behind either stage which one would you choose?
